Lake Junaluska: They Decorated the Campus for Our Walk December 1
Details
Gather at 2:00 at Lake Junaluska inside the Bethea Welcome Center. The Lake campus is decorated beautifully for Christmas, especially Lambuth Inn. And if we hit it right, Lambuth sometimes has hot apple cider in the lobby. You won't want to miss it.
This will be a 7 KM/4 mile route. The walk does not just go around the lake, but up to Lambuth Inn, along the Rose Walk, and through the native garden. We will walk a little slower than usual because there will be so many photo opportunities!
Dress for the weather. Some people may want walking poles; tennis shoes should be fine. It is particularly important that walkers bring a protein snack and water. Restrooms are available at the Welcome Center, at Lambuth Inn, and along the route. Dogs on leash are welcome. Strollers are ok.
December 1 is also National Pie Day. Who knows? We may get to end the Thanksgiving Holiday with one last piece!
