Hello everyone,

Let's do a slow pace hike from Sintra to Colares . This is a beautiful walk through scenic villages, woods and hills! It is going to be cooler than Lisbon due to its micro climate in Sintra Natural Park.

For this hike is recommended to bring water (min 2L), food and snacks. Waterproof and wind jackets are recommended, as well as hiking boots or walking shoes with good grips .

**Caution: This is not a circular hike. On the alway back, we take a bus or shared uber back to sintra.**

Distance: 14k
Elevation Gain: around 345m
Technical difficulty: Moderate
Meeting point: Sintra train station
Pnding oint: Pastelaria O Moinho, Colares

Hike times: 4-5hours, lunch break 45mins

Train Schedules: the Rossio train departs at 10:01 and arrive at 10:41. The Oriente train departs at 10:08 and arrive 10:55.

Bus schedule: Bus 1253, 1241, 1254, 1642 all goes back to Sintra. Route 1624 from Colares to Cascais departs at 17:03.
