What we’re about
This group is for women looking to connect with others and who love the outdoors. We are an active group and all skill levels are welcome. We hike locally and semi-local. Once a month we try out something new (yoga, bowling, roller skating, ...). When it gets hot in summer, we prefer kayaking to hiking.
Our group will only thrive and grow with participation. If you’re new to the area or if you're a Georgia Peach, come join us! To quote Maya Angelou: a friend may be waiting behind a stranger's face.

Hi Ladies,
It's time to try something new: paint your own pottery! Since I'll be in Belgium, Romi will host this event.
What?
Get in touch with your creative side and paint some pottery. Pick a pottery item of your choice at Artsy Me and paint it at their location in Evans. They have many different items to choose from in different price categories. It takes 3-7 days for your piece to be fired. Christmas is coming up, so this could make a nice present with a personal touch :-)When? Saturday, November 16 at 10:00 SHARP

Cost?
- $2 to pay for the MeetUp fee
- Prices range from $12 and up. This includes paint, pottery, firing, and glazing.

- Keep in mind that you will NOT get to take your pottery home immediately. It needs to be put in the oven first.
Register:
- This event will be limited to 6 attendees. After this, you can put yourself on the waiting list.
- You have to pay a deposit of $5 to Romi by 11/01. Contact her for payment info.
On the day of the event, Romi will give you your $5 back, so you can use it towards your pottery item. - If you register and do not pay the deposit by 11/01, you will be removed from the event.
- If you are on the waitlist, payment of the deposit will not be required, unless your status is changed to "attending".

Hi Ladies,
We talked about this run during today's hike (March 2) and several of you want to participate. I'm putting it online now, so there is plenty of time to train. Challenge yourself!
So far, Romi will run the 5K. Ari, Jackie S. and V will run the 10K. If you are joining us, please put it in the comments below if you're doing 5/10/21K.

Cost? none for HWOA / $35-$60, depending on the distance

- This event is NOT organized by the HWOA.
