Philosophical Evening at Chinese Teehouse (monthly)

Dear all,

there is a new Chinese Teehouse in Weststadt. We will get some introduction to Chinese tee with the option to taste it (probably 5€). Then we will read a few pages of Lao Tse and have the chance to discuss it with an expert in Chinese philosophy.

This time we are primary going to read chapter 6. In this chapter, the question of the female aspects of the Dao is put forward. We are going to discuss what the identification of the Dao with the mother or the vulva could mean for us. Or to put if differently, what are we going to find in the darkness of the valley?

Additionally, we may also consult chapters 20, 25, 52, 55, 61.
Looking forward to some interesting discussion and as always bring any translation or version you may find handy, useful, or enlightening.
