If it's your first time to come, please read through our event page carefully. Only come after you've paid for your slot. We don't accept cash, payment on the day nor after.
If you got any questions, you are welcomed to ask me anytime. But please be noticed that I will minimize communication because now the most cost for me to operate this group is communication cost (time used to answer questions). (If everyone just asks 1 question, then it's 30 questions for me to answer, right?)
If you come to our badminton event or after meal, then I will be happy to spend time talking to you there, because that's the time I planned for badminton and badminton friends.

We are a badminton group in Helsinki. This group is an independent group that is NOT related to any other groups.
We started to have regular badminton activities since January 2017 every Saturday or Sunday.
This group is operated 100% for non-profit purpose. The price includes the courts and depending on the session, plastic shuttles are included as well. There are 4-5 players using 1 court in average.
The level of our players is like: 1/3 beginners, 1/3 intermediate and 1/3 between. If you are between beginner and intermediate level, you fit to our group very well. But if you used to play more than 2 or 3 times a week (which probably means you are an advanced player), maybe you won't be satisfied with our game play.
Our group is very international. We have many players from Europe, eastern and southern Asia and our shared language is English, although we have very few native English speakers in our group.

【Restring】
There is a badminton coach offering restring service with only 15e including the string. You will need to deliver your racket to him and get it back from him directly. He restrings rackets at home.

【Sport card】
For those who want to use sport cards such as epassi, Smartun, etc. You can use your sport card to pay for our courts. You pay all courts on the event day at the counter. You take a photo of the receipt and send the photo to me together with your mobilepay number or bank account number and I will send cash back to you.
I can do this for you only if you came at least 3 times in the past 2 months. If you came less than 3 times in the past 2 months, I'll charge you 10 EUR for doing this.

- The purpose of competitive game session is to enjoy badminton games by focusing on trying your best to win the games.

- Please bring feather shuttles to join the games. We only accept specific shuttles. Please read the following. If you come without bringing feather shuttles with you, I may ask you to go home.
- I will pre-assign you to a court. One court will have 4-5 players. You play 5 games during the first hour and input scores into our sheet. Then the one with highest average score goes to the court of higher level, lowest one goes to the court of lower level. 2-3 players stay in the same court. And then we play another 5 games in the second hour.
- If you are late for more than 15min, then we will continue the games without you. Please don't come, if you know you will be late for more than 15min.

【FEE and REFUND POLICY】
- Fee includes courts and 2 feather shuttles per court. Please sign up and pay before you come. NO refund if you do not cancel until 48 hours before the event.
- Racket: bring one or rent one at the counter.
- No matter the reason is sickness, accident or anything, the group or I will not afford the cost caused by your absence.
- Of course you CAN'T ask me, "Can I sign up for free for next week because I didn't come to use my slot this week?". Please remember, the court booked for you is there and it costs money. The court doesn't simply become "free of charge", just because you didn't show up.

【DETAILS of COMPETITIVE GAMES】
- Every week about 2 days before the session, I will post the list of pre-assigned players, court number and score recording sheet in our whatsapp group.
- Each court will have 4 to 5 players.
- If there is a player late, then other 4 players can start the first game without waiting.
- If the player is too late to join the second game, then we will play the games with 4 players until the end of the session. If you are late for more than 15min, then please don't come.
