What we’re about
Hello, and welcome to Her Adventure!
We are a hiking group dedicated to creating a place for women (trans and non-binary inclusive) to feel safe and comfortable exploring nature. Her Adventure began with the goal of helping folks see themselves as hikers, adventurers, and strong ass humans who can haul their bodies up and over mountains. We're here to help cultivate the journey and sense of community.

Upcoming events (2)
See all- Her Adventure Walk (for women) at Mueller lakes and parksMueller (Northwest Greenway), Austin, TX
All Her Adventure hikes are open and welcoming to newcomers!
About the walk:
We'll walk about 4-5 miles around the Mueller, seeing three lakes and several parks. Some of the walk will be on a gravel pathway and some will be on sidewalks. There are some beautiful new neighborhood parks in Mueller and we'll take a path that showcases some great ones, including some of the cool art (we'll catch a glimpse of a dragon, an octopus, and a giant spider!). The walk is flat and nice and wide in parts.
What to bring:
Water bottle, weather appropriate comfy clothes, comfy walking shoes.Parking:
Free street parking along Tom Miller Sts and Berkman.Optional social:
Join us after the hike for an optional social at Redbud Icehouse at 2027 Anchor Lane.About Her Adventure:
We are Bobbie and Katy--two friends who have enjoyed spending time hiking and backpacking. We noticed that when we are in the backcountry, we don't see a whole lot of other women--probably due to a lot of factors (historical lack of representation, marketing, fear drilled into us by friends/family that the woods aren't safe, bro culture, etc). So we started Her Adventure with the goal of helping folks see themselves as hikers, adventurers, and strong ass humans who can haul their bodies up and over mountains. We're here to help cultivate the journey and sense of community.Questions?
If you have any questions please feel free to message Bobbie or Katy.
Easiest communication is through the[ Whats app group](WhatsApp ), [email protected] or direct message through Meetup.Socials:
