- Highly Sensitive Asians in Markham: Lunch and ChatWhole Foods Market, Markham, ON
As the weather gets colder, we're moving indoors! Join us for a casual get-together to grab a bite and chat with other Highly Sensitive Asians.
How we'll spend our time together
- Chat with the group: We might discuss practices for healthy highly sensitive living through the holiday season and winter months, co-create winter events, and future mindfulness practices or activities to explore together.
- Option to pick up your own lunch from the store buffet/salad bar. Coffee/tea and other drinks, bread and pastries, pizza, soup and stir-fry are also available.
Getting there
- By car: Parking is available right by the store
- By public transit: York Region Transit bus stop Highway 7 / Village Pkwy is right by the Uptown Market plaza
Other information
- Please keep your registration/RSVP up to date to allow as many people to attend as possible within the small capacity for this event.
- As people update their RSVP, waitlist sign-ups will be automatically moved to Attending as the date approaches.
- This event is free and require no membership fee to join.
- Highly Sensitive Asians events are intended specifically for people who are highly sensitive (HSP). This HSP test, along with other information describing the trait, is available on Dr. Aron's website. Please only sign-up to attend if you are HSP yourself or are genuinely looking to confirm that you are an HSP, and are interested in meeting other people with the same trait. Finally, to foster a low-stimulation environment for connection, we ask that only human HSPs attend. Thanks for your understanding!
About our community
The Highly Sensitive Asians events provide a unique opportunity explore mindfulness practices and to connect in friendship with fellow HSP Asians in quiet, thoughtful conversation to explore our sensitivity and experiences, the strengths and incredible gifts of our traits, and how we can show up for our true selves. To learn more about the community and to hear about future events, follow us on Instagram @highlysensitiveasians and check in on this HSPs of Toronto Meetup group.
