Please join us for a wonderful wintery walk from Cam, Dursley, along a section of the Cotswold Way.
We will walk through Coaley Woods, Buckholt Woods, along Cam Long Down and near Cockadilly. There is 1340 ft of ascent and the same amount of descent. The views from Cam Peak across the Cotswolds are spectacular, weather permitting. The area is rich in Iron Age history with many long barrows.

Bring lunch, we will stop half-ish way round and plenty of snacks and water. Also, please bring a head torch just in case.....

Please ensure you have appropriate footwear for muddy terrain and warm, wet weather clothing. Hat and gloves are necessary as it might be cold! If you use walking poles, they will be advantageous on this hike too.
