Thursday 4 mile hike in Cherokee Park

Approx. 1 hour 45 minutes long
Thursdays 6 pm
Meet across the street from Cherokee Golf Course Club House.
2526 Alexander Rd.
Plenty of parking on street.
Can park in golf course parking lot as well.
The hike will begin approx. 5 minutes after the listed start time.

Please bring headlamp/flash light for illumination and safety when hiking on trails in the dark. If you forget, I have loaners for the hike.

Cherokee Park trails are wonderful. We are so fortunate to have access to these trails.

There are several hills on this hike that can be challenging.

There are exposed roots and rocks to be aware of.

Beginner hikers are encouraged to attend, although we do keep a moderate pace.
If you cannot keep up with a moderate pace, this hike is not for you.

Mountain bikers use the same trails and should yield to hikers.

Well-behaved dogs on leashes are welcome.

The hike is a good way to enjoy the outdoors mid-week, hang out with other people who enjoy hiking, and possibly learn a few new things about nature, exercise, etc. along the way.
