Apologies for last weekend, it couldn't be helped.
All Trails lists the loop at 7.3 miles
Posting as a Level 2.5/3 for DISTANCE. It's not difficult (elevation ~ 500+ feet) but you will need stamina. And we all know how important stamina is. If you have any questions write me before signing up.
BLAZE ORANGE - REQUIRED (DEM regs) https://dem.ri.gov/about-us/dem-offices/boating-registration-licenses/rhode-island-outdoors
WATER - VERY MUCH REQUIRED (it's going to be in the 60's in November, it's 7+ miles, I will be checking - at least one liter please).
Proper Attire and footwear - ALSO VERY MUCH REQUIRED: some of the trail has roots and rocks, this hike is a bit longer than usual hikes, you'll need trail shoes or boots. It's going to be warm, wear layers. Better to de-layer than to sweat like crazy.
This hike will not go off unless we have at least 4 participants (including me).
There is parking before the gate on the right. A crescent shaped turn off that holds about 12 cars. That's where we will meet.
Directions are to the access road off of Rte 44, turn onto it and proceed a short way until you see the lot/road I mention above.
By attending this hike, you agree to Liability Disclaimer below.
