Details

This time of year it can be very cool in GG Park or if there is no fog and conditions are right it can heat up. So the earlier start time, 9:15am. It should be nice in the Park at that time.
I have to curtail my outdoor activities in the heat. Today July 7th, the 14 day weather forecast is high of 71 in SF on the 18th.

Here's a link to the video of the tour we did here on May 21st, 2022.

JFK Dr. is closed to cars. I park along MLK Dr., Bowling Green Dr. or Nancy Pelosi Dr. and walk over to the Conservatory of Flowers (pictured above).

Golden Gate Park celebrated its 150th year anniversary in 2020. That's a lot of urban history. We'll get into a little of that fascinating history today.
Distance today will be around 3.5 miles. No up hills or elev. gain.

Bring water, something to eat; snacks or lunch, a sandwich, hat and sunscreen. Food trucks are available, and Annie's food carts always around here and there.
