We will meet and start hiking no later than 9 am. This will be your choice of a 3 mile hike out to Butterfield Rd and back. Or, you can continue with me in the other direction on the trail towards Herrick Lake for 6 miles. We hike at a pace of 3.5-3.8 miles per hour. If the weather is decent some of the horses may be out of the barn in the pastures.

***Lary will be collecting $1 per person/ per event (Maximum $10 if you attend 10 or more events) for the Fall 2024. Please consider bringing a $1 to maintain this group on Meetup.com for another semi-annual period which costs us $350 a year (This is double what we paid in 2023). When you sign up for this hike you will notice an "unpaid" next to only your name. Everyone's status is "unpaid", but you can only see your own status.***

The plan is to hike from the Equestrian Center on the Regional Trail, loop thru the Nature trail(take all right turns to get to the end), then continue on the Regional Trail out to Leask Lane and Butterfield Rd. Then we will head back via the Regional Trail to the car completing the first 3 miles. Once back, we will continue on the regional trail under Naperville Rd and out towards Herrick Lake and back finishing around 6 miles.

Directions: Danada House and Equestrian Center is on the east side of Naperville Road between Warrenville Road and Butterfield Road. There is a light at the intersection and the street sign is marked Frank H. Bellinger Pkwy.
