Details

We'll go out and hike around the lake. It's about five miles total. Most of it is paved. There is a small mountain bike trail along one section of the paved trail. We might check that out.

There are a couple of hills, but nothing big. I always use trekking poles whenever I'm not on a paced surface. I also always bring water and a snack.

Some of the hikers go out to eat after the hike. I usually can't because of work.

I HIGHLY recommend that you use a navigation app such as AllTrails whenever you're out in the woods. You never know when you might have to make your way back to your vehicle on your own.

If you're running late, please text me at 616 446 8102. We can wait. Otherwise we'll leave right on time. I'll have a dark blue Honda Accord.

If you've not hiked with an organized group before, please give us a try. We love to have new hikers join us. Don't worry about being too fast or too slow for the group. Our hikers tend to split up into different groups according to pace. We typically average about 2.5 mph.

This hike is also posted on my Facebook group: West Michigan Hikers.

MEET UP POINT: There is a small parking lot on the west side of Reeds Lake Blvd just up from Lakeside Dr. The best address I could find is for the Waterfront/Gilmore Park, which is 2205 Reeds Lake Blvd. The parking lot is ACROSS THE STREET from there.

Pls IM me if you're unsure of the meeting point. I'll post a picture of the area in the comments.

See you out on the trails !
