Post-Thanksgiving Hike @ Turkey Mountain, of course (5+ miles)

After that mountain of turkey, it has to be the Turkey Mountain. Subdue your tryptophan shock with a moderately vigorous 5+ mile hike with about 1,000 ft total elevation gain. Start and finish at Pyramid Mountain Visitor Center. Let's meet in the parking lot about 10 minutes ahead for departure at 9 am!
Bring plenty of water and snacks, and appropriate seasonal items (sun- and insect-protection in summer, and crampons in winter). Day-of-hike phone: 973-704-7362.
**Note** We hike at a moderate pace, and never leave anyone behind. Our hikes are not suitable for fast hikers who like to forge ahead of the group.
