Come join us for an unusual Thanksgiving adventure in Sedona, Arizona 11/28 to 12/4.
We will be flying from Newark to Pheonix on 11/28 and returning via red eye on 12/3. Flight information will be shared with you so you can book the same flight and travel together in rental cars.
Our campground accommodates 8 people and two rental cars. You will be paying for your own flight and meals. Campground, car rental, gas, firewood and other expenses will be shared.
Day 1: (11/28/2024-Thanksgiving Day) Arrival and Introductory Hike
Settle In at Dead Horse Ranch State Park
Bell Rock Pathway (1 mile) & Vortex (Afternoon)
Evening: Enjoy a relaxed dinner in town to rest up for a week of hiking
Day 2: (11/29/2024-Friday) Cathedral Rock Hike (1.2 mile) & vortex
Optional Jeep and Off-Road Tours
Optional Star-gazing Tour at night.
Morning Hike to Cathedral Rock
Afternoon: Visit the Chapel of the Holy Cross, a beautifully designed chapel nestled into the red rocks
Evening: Relax and enjoy the sunset from Airport Mesa Overlook.

Optional Last Hike: If time allows, you could revisit a favorite vortex site or take a short trail like Little Horse Trail.
We plan to eat out mostly at the wide range food offerings in the area.
