DAY TRIP - PHILLIE -🎄Macy's Light Show/German Xmas Festival🎄

Will Meet in Lobby of Wilmington Amtrak Train Station PROMPTLY at 11:15am. ADDRESS: 100 French Street, Wilmington 19801.

There are numerous parking garages surrounding the train station.

It is safer and cheaper to purchase your Amtrak tickets online, asap. I have already purchased my tickets as follows:

Departing Wilmington-Train 82, 12/07 at 11:55am - $31

Departing Phillie -Train 163, 12/07 at 5:35pm - $18

Upon arriving at 30th Street Station in Phillie, we will walk 1.5-miles to Macy's Dept Store. The light show begins at 2pm.

After viewing the light show we will head over to the German Christmas Festival. This is an outdoor holiday festival, which is modeled after the traditional Christmas markets in Germany. We will browse the different booths and events (and I will be buying a freshly made Belgium waffle with cherry pie filling & whipped cream😜). Also, there is an outdoor ice skating rink with skate rentals.

Entrance to the festival is FREE.

After browsing the festival, we will walk back to 30th Street Train Station.
