WALK - Battery Park - New Castle

NOTE: Start time is 10am.

We will meet in the parking lot at the intersection of 3rd street and South street, right across from the tennis courts. The address for the tennis courts is:
305 South Street
New Castle, DE

Join us for a beautiful, 3-6 mile scenic walk along the edge of the Delaware River. This is an easy, flat, paved asphalt trail. This is definitely a course appropriate for beginners.

The first 3 miles will be out and back, along the Delaware River, where we will then return to the parking lot.

The last 3 miles will be on the Jack Markell Trail, heading north towards the Wilmington Riverfront.

From route 141 south: Turn left on route 9.

Travel 1/4 miles and turn right on South street. Parking lot is 1/4 mile straight ahead.
