WALK - Delaware City/Mike Castle Trail/C&D Canal

We will meet in the public parking lot BEHIND Crabby Dicks.

Join me for about a 6-mile walk beginning at Crabby Dicks in Delaware City. We will walk out Clinton Street through the heart of Delaware City and on to the Michael Castle Trail. As we return, we'll walk along the canal to see the calm waters and the many varied boats docked there. If you would like to do less than 6 miles, you may turn around at any time.

Drive south on route 1
Take exit 152 toward route 72 and Delaware City

At exit take left onto route 72 East (Wrangle Hill Road)

At intersection of route 72 and route 13 continue straight onto route 9

Drive 1.5 miles and continue straight onto route 9 South
Please obey all speed limit signs. Enforcement is strict.

Drive 2 miles and make a left onto Clinton Street
Drive about .5 miles to end of Clinton Street.
