This Conditioning Hike is rated for Intermediate & Advance Hikers.
Veteran’s Park in Sylmar CA has some of the best trails for all types of hikers.
We will have the option to go up dirt trails, fire roads, and or canyons covering a variety of different terrain for added difficulty!!!
Long steep inclines both going up and coming down are included
Trail is exposed to the elements so please come prepared;

STRAWBERRY PEAK – Elevation 6,164′

Strawberry Peak is another Southern California gem. It is located in the San Gabriel mountains off of Hwy 2 near the Red Box picnic area. Elevation is 6165, This is approximately 8 miles out and back route, 2609 ft of elevation gain. This trail features beautiful views of the city and the surrounding mountains. Along the trail there are Yucca plants and some poison oak.We will do some scrambling near the peak. It is perfect for most levels feel free to join us..
