The terrain has some hills, about 670 m total ascent. Length is 22 km, pace is 4.5 km/h. Maps 17/18. This hike is suitable for intermediate hikers.

This hike is a 22K main trail/side trail loop, using the Glen Haffy, Harmony, Hollycrest and Darcy's Side Trails to connect the scenic Humber Heights and Glen Haffy areas. The trail traverses Escarpment, mixed forest, open fields, open ridges, and a Lookout Point with splendid views.

Please follow these guidelines for safe and responsible hiking:

• Pack out everything you bring on your hike, including fruit peel and nut shells.

**RSVP Requirements**

Everybody must answer the RSVP question about their travel plans, which you should see when you sign up for the event:

A. Passenger at carpool,
B. Driver at carpool for x passengers,
C. Prefer to be passenger, but driver at carpool for x passengers if needed,
D. Prefer meet at event, but driver at carpool for x passengers if needed.
E. Meet at event

Organizers will monitor the RSVPs. As we're primarily a carpool group, first priority will be given to A, B, C, then D. Only "Going" members can attend events.

*Please do not leave your name on the wait list once you've made other plans. If we think members are doing that, we'll skip over them.*

Members that no-show and don't make any effort to contact the organizer may be removed from the group.

**Costs**

Member Event fee: $2 (Bruce Trail membership card holders exempt) Bring exact change, please. Fees will go toward annual Meetup fees and any excess will be donated to the Bruce Trail Conservancy.

Carpool Cost: Each passenger will pay the driver $10.

**What to Bring**

• Water (2 liters), lunch,
• Hiking shoes, gloves or mittens, toque (beanie)
• Dress in layers, avoid cotten
• A toonie for the event fee, if not a Bruce Trail Club member (please bring exact change)
