Name: Terra Cotta Hike and a visit to the Cidery (18-20km, 4.5 km/h)

This event is suitable for intermediate hikers. The terrain is variable. Distance is about 18-20km, pace 4.5 km/hr.

Starting from 10 line, we'll follow the Terra Cotta Side Trail and Main Trail to the [Spirit Tree Estate Cidery](https://spirittreecider.com/), where we'll have lunch on the picnic benches, optionally sampling the ciders. We'll return via the Main Trail and Rockside Side Trail.

**RSVP Requirements**

Everybody must answer the RSVP question about your travel plans, which you should see when you sign up for the event:

A. Passenger at carpool,
B. Driver at carpool for x passengers,
C. Prefer to be passenger, but driver at carpool for x passengers if needed,
D. Prefer meet at event, but driver at carpool for x passengers if needed.
E. Meet at event

Organizers will monitor the RSVPs. As we're primarily a carpool group, first priority will be given to A, B and C, then D. Only "Going" members can attend events.

**Costs**

Member Event fee: $2 (Bruce Trail membership card holders exempt) Bring exact change, please. Fees will go toward annual Meetup fees and any excess will be donated to the Bruce Trail Conservancy.

Carpool Cost: Each passenger will pay the driver $10.

**What to Bring**

• Water (2 liters), lunch, hiking shoes.
• Sun hat
• Sun block and bug repellent
• A toonie for the event fee, if not a Bruce Trail Club member (please bring exact change)
