Join us on a new(to me!) afternoon hike on the Highland Valley Trail! This beautiful trail is shaded, easy and has great views along the way! It is an out and back trail.

**Parking:** The trailhead should have ample parking available.
**Approximate Walking Distance:** 4 miles
**Approximate Length of Walk:** 1 Hour 30 min depending on pace
**Approximate Pace:** Slow/Moderate Pace (25 min. miles)
**Estimated Difficulty Level:** Easy
**Meeting Time:** 2pm, we will allow an extra 5 min just in case, but leaving at 2:05 sharp.

PARTICIPANTS: This is a ladies only group. No pets, children, or others hike with us. If a friend would like to join us on a hike, they must join the group. New members are always welcome!

YOUR CAPABILITIES: Read the entire hike description carefully. Know your limits. Sign up only if you feel the hike is doable as-described and bring all recommended materials and equipment. If you do not bring water or recommended equipment, you may not be able to continue on the hike, at the organizer’s discretion.
YOUR RSVP: Take your RSVP seriously. If you need to cancel, do so ASAP to make room for others and to aid the organizer. No Shows or those who cancel after the RSVP is closed, without direct contact to the organizer, risk being blocked from other hikes, at the organizer’s discretion.
COMMENTS SECTION: Please be kind and respectful to the organizers and other members. Keep your remarks related to the hike, such as arranging to carpool, asking for clarification, explaining change of RSVP, etc. If you have any other concerns, please contact the organizer directly.
LEAVING THE GROUP DURING A HIKE: If you want to go ahead of the group or need to leave the hike early, please alert the organizer. Let the organizer know when you’ve completed the hike if you finish ahead of her. If you leave the group/hike without notifying the organizer, you risk being blocked from future hikes.

DONATIONS: 100% optional and not required, your $5.99/year covers the basic costs to keep the meetup group up and running. Donations go towards special events such as the monthly birthday celebrations (gifts, raffle prizes), group giveaways and other enhancements to the group!
