Caspers Wilderness Park Hike (Level 2 to 2+)

Caspers Wilderness Park opens at 7 am.
There are two hiking options. You may choose of the two options.
- The short hike is about 6 miles and 600 ft elevation gain. (Level 2)
- The long hike is about 9 miles and 1500 ft elevation gain. (Level 2+)
Short route - Bell Canyon Trail - Sunrise Trail - Cougher Pass, left to Oso Trail, Bell Canyon Trail, Star Rise Trail, West Ridge Trail, Dick Loskorn Trail, Nature Trail.
Long route - Bell Canyon Trail - Sunrise Trail - Cougher Pass, right to Oso Trail, Badger Pass, Juanero Trail to San Juan Meadow Group area. Walk back to the Bell Canyon Trailhead on the main road for about 0.5 mile.
Duration will be 3 to 4 hours depending on the route and your pace.
We will divide into separate small groups depending on your pace. Stay with someone so that you won't get lost.

This is a beautiful hike with expansive views. It is a nice and remote hike, so you are really out there in the wilderness.

Parking is $3 for weekdays, unless you have an OC Parks Annual Permit.
