What we’re about
This group is for members age 45+ who are interested in making new friends and checking out all the great activities that the Westside area has to offer. Events will include things like walking & hiking, happy hour, live music and dancing, art walks, museums, volunteering and more. This group is for people who are single, divorced, widows / widowers, couples, and empty nesters, many of us are going through midlife transitions and looking to create or expand our social network.
We ask for a $5 contribution from our members. The reason for the request is to help cover the cost of the web site, meetup.com and other out of pocket expenses. This is not a requirement for membership. Please message me, Sue Castanieto, through the site to find out how best for you to make the contribution.
If you have a partner who also wants to participate, each person will need to join separately since some of our events do not include guests.
This has been a fantastic experience. If this describes you and you are looking to connect with others in this stage of life, join us!
If you have an activity you'd like to see on our calendar and are willing to post and host, please let me know.
Note: We require you to have a clear picture of your face in your profile so we can identify you when you attend our functions and we can properly greet you. It is our policy that you will not be able to join unless you do.
Thank you, Sue

See all- Bingo Night at Hillsboro Downtown Station Food CartsHillsboro Downtown Station, Hillsboro, OR
Bingo has been a great addition to the calendar at The Hillsboro Downtown Station Food Carts. The no-fee games start at 6:30, so let's meet early to grab a bite and a beverage. There is a great variety of food carts and an extensive tap list to enjoy while we listen for our Bingo numbers to be called. Tables have been saved at the front - look forward to seeing you.
The last round is a community round which consists of items brought in from the community. It would be fantastic if you could add something to the prize pot, but it is not required. Some suggestions: lottery tickets, candy bars, candles, small trinkets and cash is always appreciated.
Conveniently located in the heart of downtown Hillsboro, Hillsboro Downtown Station Food Plaza is located at 320 SE Baseline St Hillsboro, OR 97123. Traveling west on SE Baseline St, it is located on your left and is well marked with the STATION sign. Parking is accessed via Chance Lane on the back side of the Station, between 3rd and 4th.
