Project 2025 Explained Chapter by Chapter: Understanding the Conservative Promise. A Comprehensive Fully-Vetted Analysis of The Heritage Foundation’s Mandate for Leadership, 175pp

The official Project 2025 book is something like 920 pages, so instead we're reading one of the many books that summarizes it and puts it into perspective. I tried to pick one that seems fairly balanced, you can judge how successful I was. If you don't have time to read this book, you can also read the Wikipedia page.
-------------------------------------------------

What does the Heritage Foundation's 920-page "Project 2025: A Mandate for Leadership" actually say? Why does it matter for America's future?

In an era awash in misinformation, denials, and partisan noise, getting to the truth about this potentially dangerous document is both challenging and essential.

Released in anticipation of a potential second Trump term, Project 2025 compiles the work of hundreds of conservative operatives and ideologues into a stunningly radical plan to infiltrate and reconstruct the federal government. Its proposals, if implemented, would dramatically expand presidential power, shred the social safety net, eliminate key environmental and civil rights protections, and impose a reactionary cultural agenda - all while cutting taxes for the wealthy. It's a roadmap to effectively ending American democracy as we know it.

But at a whopping 920 pages, Project 2025 can be difficult even for political junkies to fully digest. With meticulous citations and a commitment to intellectual honesty, this book provides:

  • A complete yet accessible and fully-indexed summary of all 920 pages, distilling the key arguments and policy proposals
  • A chapter-by-chapter analysis of the immediate consequences and broader implications of the proposed policies
  • Profiles of the sprawling network of donors, strategists, and organizations behind Project 2025 and the web of dark money backing it
  • Rigorous, data-driven analysis of the real-world impacts of Heritage's agenda on everything from women´s rights to climate change policy, from tax reform to education, and much more
