What we’re about

The Meet & Mingle evenings were created so that those who are interested in holistic, personal growth, metaphysical and spiritual discussions can get together and meet their like-minded community members just to chat and hang out.

So many of us live in isolation, being the only one in our family or group of friends to have these non-traditional interests. Here you will make new friends and weave new connections in your soul community.

Whether you are completely new, simply curious, reasonably knowledgeable or highly-involved in the holistic, personal growth, metaphysical or spiritual world, all are welcome!

We hold meetings, generally, on the first Thursday of every month (COVID notwithstanding), where people of all beliefs can come and talk about any subject with people who are non-judgmental, curious and interested.

The format of the meetings is quite simple and informal and goes something like this:

ONLY REQUIREMENT: Order at least one item from Rockaberry (a coffee, a tea, a dessert, a meal - up to you). They're very good to us and we like to make sure they're happy to have us.

  • Arrival any time between 7 and 9pm.
  • Greeting by Kelly (and hopefully a helper).
  • Get a name tag.
  • Scope out an empty spot at a table (with people you know or people you don't).
  • Sit down, introduce yourself and join the conversation.
  • Ask questions of your table-mates or introduce a topic that you don't normally feel comfortable discussing with non-spiritual/non-metaphysical people.
  • At any time (if you want), get up and find a new place to sit at another table.
  • Introduce yourself to your new table-mates.
  • Listen in, join the going conversation or ask whether others want to start a new one.
  • "Rince and repeat" as many times as you like over the course of the evening.
  • Leave when it's convenient for you.
  • Event ends when Rockaberry staff kicks us out (10:30/11 PM). :D

Location of Events:  
Rockaberry, Kirkland on St-Charles. You don't have to be from that area to join this group. Attend any and all events that interest you.  We look forward to meeting you!
