PLEASE READ THESE NON-NEGOTIABLE GUIDELINES BEFORE REQUESTING MEMBERSHIP.
We are a friendly and welcoming bunch of people, who enjoy a variety of social activities and gatherings, and we look forward to seeing you at an event soon!
Your organisers are here to facilitate interesting and friendly social events for your enjoyment.
MEMBERSHIP RULES
1. On application you must upload a clear head & shoulder recent photo of yourself.
And use your real name.
This is so hosts can recognise you at events, and you recognise us. Photos can only be seen by members.
2. Your RSVP responsibilities.
● No cancellations will be accepted after the RSVP cut-off date/time.
● NO SHOWS will not be accepted.
● Keep track of your events. Make a note in a diary, on a calendar or create a reminder. We all have smart phone's, so utilise them to your advantage.
● Register your email so you get important information from the group.
● Turn on your "chat" so hosts can contact you privately if needed.
3. $2 Gold Coin donations.
● All members will make a $2 gold coin donation at every event they attend. (Children under 16 years are exempt)
● PLEASE pay the $2 at the START of the event.
●Hosts will ONLY accept cash.
● Bank deposits/transfers will not be accepted.
● This is non-negotiable.
● You may be excluded from the event if your contribution is not paid.
● The money collected is used to pay fees to meetup, for use of their website & apps.
4. Booking deposits.
An event host may ask for a deposit, or full payment, for certain events. Each host will deal with their own events as they see fit. Be assured, all hosts are genuine and honest.
5. Attending events.
We want everyone to feel welcomed at our events and for everyone to feel safe, so please be respectful of each other.

-Bullying
-Racism
-Hate-speech
-Respecting personal boundaries
-Malicious gossip
6. Legal Stuff
● The group, Hobart Random Happenings!, will not be held responsibile for your personal safety.
● All participants accept full responsibility for any liability, injury, loss, damage or death in any way connected with participation in the event.
● You acknowledge that participation in any event is at your sole risk.
● You also release the group from any and all liability or claims which may arise from participating in an event.
7. Host responsibilities.
● Hold 1 event every 3 months to keep your role and the group active.
● Do not plan an event at the same time as another event, held in our group.
● At the end of your event, transfer monies into our group's account.
● Send a message to whatsapp with no-shows and incorrect RSVPs.
