Silent Book Club at Grounds of Grace Coffee Shop

December 21 is the Winter Solstice -- the shortest day of the year. I don't really have a relevant activity for this special day, but I do have a cool event I'd like to introduce you guys to.

It's called a Silent Book Club. They meet at various coffee shops and breweries around Jacksonville each month.

Here's how it works:

• First 30 minutes: Check in, grab yourself a drink and/or food, and grab a seat.
• Next 60 minutes: Read whatever book you've brought along with you.
• Last 30 minutes: Do what you want! You can keep reading, go socialize, whatever!

If you'd like to join, go to their Instagram page, click the link in the profile, and then fill out the signup form to let them know you'll be there.

Let's plan to meet 15 minutes before the start time so we have enough time to congregate. Then we can head in together and get out drinks and snacks before settling in!

FYI: They haven't published the details for the December gatherings yet, so I haven't added location info. There are two Grounds of Grace locations, so I'll update it once the details are available!
