Along the Western Edge: Three Temples in Mongkok and Sham Shui Po

Starting a few years back we here at Hong Kong Sacred Spaces HQ thought it would be a good idea to try and trace the western edge of Hong Kong using temples as a kind of landmark. As many of you know, local temples were often situated along the coastline. Since land reclamation has changed considerably these temples are now in the middle of urban neighborhoods. In the past, we've been to the Tin Hau Temple in Yau Ma Tei and the cluster of temples in and around Kwai Chung so it's only right that we explore the Mongkok, Sham Shui Po, and Nam Chong areas. I propose we fill in the gap by visiting:

• Hung Shing Temple, Tai Kok Tsui - 福全街洪聖廟
• Kwan Tai Temple, Sham Shiu Po - 深水埗關帝廟
• Sam Tai Tze & Pak Tai Temple, Sham Shiu Po - 深水埗三太子及北帝廟

Let's explore 3 temples that more or less marked the edge of what Hong Kong used to look like. I look forward to seeing you all!
