Who should sign up: All fit and able bodied hikers; this is an easy hike suitable for most everyone who enjoys an energetic hike of approximately 11 km.

Not allowed: No guests allowed on my hikes. If you want to bring friends, ask them to signup themselves. Everyone must dress appropriately and have proper equipment for an energetic afternoon hike. I have final say on who joins my hikes.

Hike statistics: An 11 km hike with a total ascent of 180m. We expect to be finished in around 3.5 hours hiking and back in Sai Kung by 6.00 pm.

What to bring: Good shoes are important, Water is critical and snacks are always nice along the way. I expect it will be hot, plan accordingly. Cameras are encouraged and also bring along your sense of adventure. There are normally 2 spots along the way where one can pickup food and drinks but these village stores are never guaranteed to be open. Please bring all you need and avoid disappointment.

Meeting Time and Place: 1.00 pm at the exit gates of Wu Kai Sha station on Ma On Shan Line. Allow 30 minutes from Tai Wai to Wu Kai Sha on MOS rail. Allow at least an hour if coming from Central. Check MTR Journey planner and allow plenty of time. We will then take 99 bus to Shui Long Wo departing from adjacent bus station.

Return: We will return to Sai Kung by pre-booked minibus. Cost approx $27. You can get off the minibus before Sai Kung for other bus connections.

Description: This is an easy hike from Shui Long Wo which passes waterfalls, follows a coastal path, goes through a mountain pass ending in Hoi Ha. The hike is longish (11 km) but the first half is flat along the catchment road. The coastal path has a few very small uphill sections. The path across the hills to Pak Sha climbs gently to a plateau then descends to Hoi Ha Road.

Other Information:
Toilets available at only at Wu Kai Sha, Shui Long Wo, Yung Shue O and Hoi Ha at end of walk.

'No shows' will be recorded and habitual 'No Shows' will be removed from the group. If you cannot make it be courteous and update your RSVP or call/SMS.

If you change your mind or cannot come please change RSVP early as minibus must be booked and paid in advance.
