Want to have fun, meet people, and get healthy dancing?
Well then consider two offerings starting this October:
1st class: Body Groove - Here we use various dance music to get our groove on in a quiet, get down style. I will demonstrate several dance movements per class for you to practice and then turn on the music and let us groove at our own pace. These exercises will increase in difficulty as the classes progress. The goal of the class is to get your heart pumping in a happy environment, while teaching you some great moves you will definitely use on the dance floor. Thursday nights, starting 10/17/24, one hour each from 6:30 - 7:30 pm.
2nd class: Tango Wellness - Here we use tango music and patterns to exercise for one hour. This is great opportunity to learn about some of the tango moves dancers use or just a refresher to practice the movements if you are already familiar with them. The goal is to promote balance, understanding the possibilities of movement with music, and give you confidence to join us on the dance floor. Thursday nights, starting 10/17/24 one hour from 7:30 - 8:30pm. We will be practicing lots of boleos and pivots so shoes should be comfortable and not too high.
What you will need: Shoes you can slide on, preferably suede or leather soled shoes, dance shoes, or slippery socks. We must turn while dancing. Bring water!

No class 2nd Thursday of the month due to monthly milonga.
Free to card carrying Veterans.
