We're going to do a different kind of walk this Friday morning -- we are going to go to the Houston Zoo and stroll around there, enjoying the cool animal exhibits, lovely trees and landscaping, and nice weather of November.

Wendy is hosting this walk because she has a zoo membership where she can get 9 extra people into the zoo for free. **If you also have a zoo membership, please let us know when you RSVP,** so that we'll know that we can use our free guest passes for people who sign up who don't have zoo memberships.

We'll walk around the Houston Zoo for an hour or so, and then end the "walk" part of the morning at the Zoo's parking lot, but anyone is welcome to join us for coffee or brunch after the walk at Sunday Press, located in Hermann Park near the zoo. Bring money if you think you might want to join us at Sunday Press. (See more info about Sunday Press below).

**We’ll meet at the entrance to Houston Zoo.** The Zoo is next to a large, free parking lot, but it also gets very full of cars parking there to use the zoo and Hermann Park, so try to arrive early, because it may take you a few minutes to walk to the entrance from where you park. :)

The Sunday Press menu includes salads, sandwiches, breakfast tacos, cheese, strawberry or avocado toast, chia pudding, açaí bowls, burgers, locally roasted coffee, cold-pressed juices and fresh baked goods and desserts. They have lots of vegetarian and vegan options.
