NOTE: This event IS Thursday, Dec. 5!

We are going to do a cheese-tasting at Houston Dairymaids and also do a progressive food shopping expedition for those who are up for it:

* Houston Dairymaids
* Houston Farmer’s Market
* El Bolillo Bakery
* Lunch at Onion Creek Cafe**\*\***

We’ll meet at Houston Dairymaids at 10 am when they open. There is a small lot to the north of the building off of Airline. There is also free street parking on Nadine St to the south.

Dairymaids do a set cheese tasting with small samples of five cheeses from various states and countries. They also sell wine and gourmet foodstuffs that go well with cheese, like crackers, nuts, jams, charcuteries, for all your cheese board needs.

Anyone who is interested after the cheese tasting can join us for a quick walk through the Houston Farmer’s Market. It’s a 2-minute drive from Dairymaids. There’s ample parking in lots accessible from Airline or Service Street to the south.

We might also hit up El Bolillo, the very popular Mexican bakery across the street from the Farmers’ Market, before heading to lunch at Onion Creek.

NOTE: if you are going to lunch, maybe bring a cooler for any cheese or Farmers’ Market purchases (unless you want to carry them in your purse into lunch.) Also, bring cash for the Farmers’ Market purchases (fruits, veggies, flowers, spices, teas, mole, etc.)

**\*\*If you want to go to lunch at Onion Creek Cafe, please sign up** for that event separately on Meetup, so we’ll have a good headcount for getting a table for the group.
