Waltz into Christmas Dance

WHEN: Monday, December 16, 6:30 - 9:00 PM
Pre-party workshops: 6:00-6:30 PM:

2. Advanced Traveling Waltz Patterns (Sharon Shaw)
3. Beginning-level Texas Twostep (Tracy Akin)

WHERE: Chapelwood Methodist Church, 11140 Green Bay, 77024.

Who is invited: Anyone who likes to dance, regardless of experience or ability.

MUSIC: 1 song in 5 will be a Waltz. Over two and a half hours, there will be 42 songs. 8 Waltzes. The other 80% will be COUNTRY-WESTERN TWOSTEP MUSIC, CLASSIC BIG BAND SWING MUSIC, WEST COAST SWING, and SALSA.

COST: $20 per person. People are welcome to contribute more in the cookie jar if they wish, but it is not necessary nor is it expected.

DRESS: Wear whatever you want. This is not a formal dance party. This is a fun dance party. Please dress comfortably.

FOOD: It depends on the kindness of strangers. Typically, people bring food to munch on: cookies, cake, cheese, fruit, crackers, chips, guacamole. A table will be provided for food contributions.

DRINK: Water and lemonade will be provided. (No alcohol, please. This is a church.)
