Brighton electric Mountain Bike Experience
Details
Explore the Brighton Coastline, and ride through a beautiful nature reserve and the Sussex countryside.
We start our journey in Seven Dials, picking up the bikes and making sure we are all prepared and ready to go for the journey. After a quick test ride, we cruise down to the seafront through a beautiful park in Hove and quiet streets, avoiding traffic and gaining confidence. Then, we head east towards the Brighton Marina and the cliffs. On the way, we pass by some of Brighton’s most iconic sites such as the remnants of the West Pier, the Palace Pier, the i360, The Grand Hotel, the gay district of Kemptown and even a nudist beach (we won’t stop and stare!).
Once we reach the top of the Marina, we go off road on bridleways onto the South Downs to treat ourselves to the spectacular views over the city, and learn about Brighton’s unique natural environment and cityscapes.
Then, we go through the stunning nature reserve of Castle Hill, and enjoy the sights of many animals and landscapes. Our tour then leads us to the town of Rottingdean, where we can admire many Tudor style houses (and even the secret birthplace of the popular board game, Cluedo). We can then take a break on the seafront, at a café overlooking Saltdean beach, before cruising back via the undercliffs along the sea.
This Tour does not require advanced riding skills, but one needs to be in good health.
Every week on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
