Details
A Season for Compassion: Tom McGuire Saturday 10:00am -11:00am
When family and friends suffer, we easily develop compassion for them, but we find it more difficult to feel sympathy for people who challenge us. Explore how to widen our circle of compassion to include everyone —even those we find difficult. Universal compassion is like a loving parent’s unconditional care, but it does not just happen. It is a quality we grow through meditation and practice. Kadampa Buddhism teaches that such universal compassion is key to a peaceful, joyous life, and will positively impact our troubled world.
