If you're new to the Hagerstown area, or just want to get out and meet new people: Welcome! BIH is for men and women who want to try new things, meet new people, or share a local activity.
Emphasis on "NEW." If you're like me, there are probably hobbies you want to try, or events you want to attend, but you just don't know the right people. Whether you want to learn to rock climb, play Dungeons and Dragons for the first time, start a book club, or check out a local event, the goal with BoHU is to find people you can learn with! (Note: most activities will be outdoors, socially distanced, and/or in small groups for now.)
WHO IT'S FOR
I had a few questions about this so I want to make sure that everyone feels welcome. This group and all activities is for pretty much everyone. Some activities may be geared towards younger people, but hip older folks are welcome as well — especially if you're a bit of a geek or a nerd.

INTERMEDIATE LINDY HOP DANCE
Friday, November 15th
6:30-8:00pm
Pangborn Elementary SchoolThe swing-out is the most iconic Lindy Hop move, with partners moving around each other at high tempo while turning, swiveling, kicking, and jumping. In this workshop we will focus on learning and improving swing-out fundamentals - for dancers who have already mastered basic 6-count swing moves. Partners are not needed, dancers are encour¬aged (but not required) to rotate during class to practice.
This is an adult program for adults ages 18+. This is a public event not exclusive to the Bored in Hagerstown Meetup Group.

Adult Drop-in Pickleball at Ruth Ann Monroe
Saturday mornings, 10:30am-12:30pm. (9/7 through 12/7)Join us on Saturday mornings at Ruth Ann Monroe Primary School for Adult Drop-in Pickleball! This is a recreational program and is for players of all levels and abilities. A limited supply of pickleball paddles will be available if needed. This is for open gameplay only. There will NOT be a beginner’s orientation. Gameplay will begin at 10:30am until 12:30pm. This event is for adults over the age of 18 years old.
The registration fee to play is $5.00. We can only accept cash. Pre-registration is not required. You can also register for the discounted Season Pass at www.washcorecfit.com.
This event is not exclusive to the Bored in Hagerstown Meet-up Group, this event is open to the public.
