We leave from the fountain in front of the Mission at 6:15 PM for the evening hikes. So be there a few minutes early! These hikes are on the front country trails behind Santa Barbara and Montecito.
Dress appropriately with hiking boots, comfortable clothes and bring at least a liter of water in your backpack or fanny pack. Bring sunscreen and bug repellant when necessary. The evening hike leaves at 6:15 PM SHARP and we get back between 8:30 PM and 9:00 PM.
There are no dogs allowed on the hikes for safety concerns. The hike is approximately 4 miles, 2 miles up and 2 miles back. Everyone is welcome, but some beginners may find it challenging. Check with the leader if you have questions or concerns.
We will carpool to the hike from the Mission. Most trail heads have limited parking. Please carpool if possible! If you decide to ride with someone please be kind enough to give the driver a dollar per person for their trouble and gas.
