Join us for Humboldt County's 10th NVC Gathering

Saturday and Sunday
Sessions will be
10am-12:00pm and 1:15pm-3:15pm on each day

Tentative Schedule for Saturday
9:30am - Arrive / Mingle / Setup - Connect early!
10am - Session 1: “Dissolving Enemy Images” "Transcending one's perceptions that another deserves to be punished or harmed.

12:15pm - Setup and Break for Lunch (bring fruit, or a side to share? We'll provide a make-your-own sandwich bar. All welcome to join!)
1:00pm - Arrive for Session 2 - Connection Time
1:15pm - Session 2:
- "Discernment Reconnecting to self and recovering from reactivity" -

Clarity, insight, and wisdom in making life-serving distinctions and choices; recognizing one has choice.

"Living Interdependently" -Living from the knowledge that every individual is related to every other individual - every part of a system affects every other part.

3:15pm - End and Cleanup

10am - Session 3: "Honest Self-expression"

Owning one's experience and having the willingness to express authentically without blame or criticism

12:15pm - Setup and Break for Lunch (bring fruit, or a side to share? We'll provide a make-your-own sandwich bar. All welcome to join!)
1:00pm - Arrive for Session 5 - Connection Time
1:15pm - Session 5: "Facilitating Connection" Facilitating empathy and honesty in dialogue with an intent to create connection.
3:15pm - End & opportunities to help clean up

Each session will include instruction, small group discussion, and practical exercises using compassionate communication (a.k.a. Nonviolent Communication)

Financial Accessibility is important to us. We offer this training as a gift. (You can attend for free AND) We request $25-$75 per session to support our Sustainability. This covers our expenses for food, our time, training materials, travel, and accommodation.
