The hike: Moderate 2.2-2.3mph average pace. Several brief stops at great viewpoints. There's no sweep! We start hiking at 8:45am from the Washburn Trailhead parking lot at the base of Bull Hill. We'll have great views of the Hudson, West Point, Cold Spring, Storm King, etc., and we'll check out the ruins of the Cornish Estate mansion.

The route:
- White trail up and over Bull Hill and then down into valley.
- Left onto blue trail for about 1/3 mile, passing by footbridge on the way.
- Right onto yellow Undercliff Trail to top of ridge.
- Left onto the white Breakneck Trail. Go 250 yards to great viewpoint.
- Double back on white and stay on white across ridge ~1.5 miles.
- Turn right onto Blue Notch Trail. Stay on blue all the way to parking lot, passing the old stone barn and the Cornish ruins along the way.

Gear: Appropriate footwear; microspikes or similar traction; moisture-wicking clothing; water; poles may be helpful; lunch/snacks
