£1 Full Moon Walk

A moonlight evening walk of around an hour 15mins (estimate). Pace is fairly fast so as to keep warm. This months' moon (on the 15th at its fullest) is called a "beaver moon" or "frost moon".

We will go round Pontefract park, lake and racecourse where there is a big open sky and hopefully the chance to see the moon, stars and some planets if it is a clear night.

MEETING PLACE
Outside front main entrance of Aspire at The Park, Park Road, Pontefract.

PARKING
Plenty of free parking spaces at the venue or nearby car parks

FOOTWEAR
Walking boots highly recommended. It will be muddy in places.

EQUIPMENT
Please ensure you bring a torch. Where we are heading is very dark so we can enjoy the night sky at its best.

WEATHER
I will cancel this walk in the event of rain.

WALK FEE
£1 per person to help cover MeetUp fees. Payment on the day in person.

DOGS
Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome.
