£1 walk - Frickley Country Park

Frickley Country Park is a former colliery and is now an attractive open space. It has over 7 miles of footpaths and cycle-ways, giving you great opportunities to walk, run, cycle and escape in this natural environment. There are also several works of art which hark back to the land’s industrial past.

An approximately 4 mile route, mostly flat along marked trails but a couple of small hills and uneven ground. Sturdy footwear suggested.

Meet at the Car Park on Frickley Lane, South Elmsall, Pontefract WF9 2JP.
Do not use the Meetup Address, it is incorrect.

£1 walk fee per person which helps towards MeetUp fees. Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome. You are responsible for your own health and safety. I will cancel this event if it is the weather is poor so watch this space on the day.
