The weather looks favorable for mondays hike. Cold temps. I recommend good hiking boots and trekking poles if you have them. It took me 57 minutes to reach the summit and I was just plodding along. It’s a pretty steep climb in spots and I would rate the difficulty level at around intermediate level. There might be a little snow near the top but no need for snowshoes, Overall distance of the hikes is about 4.5 miles with 1839 ft elev gain. Hope to see you on monday to 🔥 of some excess holiday calories ! 😃👍 No dogs please, this is a big game wintering area and is patrolled by fish and game personnel and they will issue hefty fines.
