11/29 FREAKY FRIDAY'S PICKLEBALL FOR ALL LEVELS 10:00-12:00PM

By Popular Demand, the INDY group is offering FREAKY FRIDAY Pickleball @PICKLED WOODRIDGE.

Please, sign up early as our number of spots fill quickly. Feel free to bring a friend or two. This weekly event is designed for all levels of players.
PICKLED has 8 courts. We will be assigned the number of courts which are appropriate for the size of our group. This could change each week.
The cost per person is $7.00 for a 2 hour session If possible, bring the exact amount.** Pay the Host from INDY, unless you are using a credit card OR Have paid through Court Reserve.
We may have drop in people who are not in our group....Welcome them, Please. BRING A FRIEND OR TWO...

Beginners will learn the basic rules and strategies. Advanced players will enjoy doing what we like to do...Play Pickleball AND Continue Learning.
You will be amazed with how quickly your skills increase with practice.

The only Rule is to have FUN! While being Safe.
WE EMPHASIZE COURT ETIQUITE.... Always show support for the other 3 players on the court.. Lets always remember we all started as Newbies.
I know for fact.... every kind suggestions, helping a new player is greatly appreciated. Be the person remembered as the kind and helpful pickler. Paddles and balls will be provided for those new to the game.
Be sure to bring fluids to drink. Gatorade is a great option.
Wearing Tennis shoes is best as they are made for the playing surface. The proper shoes could help avoid injuries. Shop Smart!!

Take an easy 2 or 4 mile walk at Herrick Lake Forest Preserve .

Use the East lot off Butterfield Road. Meet at 3:30 at the flagpole by the boathouse. East side of the Butterfield Rd. parking lot.

At the first intersection on the trail, return to the parking lot on a different path (for a total distance of two miles) or continue on an additional two mile loop. Flat limestone trails. Leisurely pace (2.5 mph or so). Leashed dogs welcome. Cancelled if it's raining. Get a map of the trails (http://www.dupageforest.org/Herrick_Lake_Map.aspx) .

IF you are new, you might sign up for the BABY DILL LESSON GIVEN AT WOODRIDGE AND WHEATON. We run this session on the First Monday of the month, alternating Wheaton and Woodridge location. The cost is ONLY $10.00 for 2 hours of instruction. It’s a great way to introduce yourself to the sport and meet great people to play with.

Feel free to bring your friends who are of the same skill level. If you do, plz add them as a guest, or let Mary know they are coming.

THE COST FOR THIS EVENT IS $7.00 PER PERSON FOR 2 HOURS OF PLAY. If you are a Beachcomber member of Pickled the cost will be $4.00 for each INDY event.

As the weather is changing, we will have more attendees. Be sure to sign up early. If you go on the wait list keep an eye on the site as people cancel. Please sign up 24 hours in advance. We need to arrange for the number of courts needed.
