It's Saturday night. You could go out. You could sit at home watching Netflix and chilling. Or, you could do both: come out for a night of watching made-up movies on stage! First, Playing Without a Script performed by the participants of the Long-Form Narrative Improv workshop. Then, As Seen on TV performed by the original cast. Both shows are directed by Kevin Miller.

Playing Without a Script
They decided to perform in a play weeks ago. They picked their genre two hours ago. They are choosing their plot, dialogue, and characters right now in front of you onstage. Witness the opening and closing night of this completely improvised play from the finest players in Eindhoven.

What if the cast of Grey’s Anatomy had a real medical disaster? What if the cast of Succession had to conduct a real corporate takeover? Would they collectively triumph or crumble under the pressure? “As Seen on TV” follows the misadventures of a group of professional actors who suddenly find themselves forced to do the very thing they’ve only pretended to do. Inspired by GalaxyQuest, Tropic Thunder, and The Three Amigos, this completely improvised play blurs the line between parody and homage to the TV genres of our time.

Who is Kevin Miller?
Kevin Miller performed and taught improv in Austin, Texas for over 20 years. In 2020, he moved to Amsterdam to live with his wife and practice his Dutch. Kevin has teaching experience around the world, from Alaska to Finland to South Africa. He is also the creator and producer of PowerPints, the PowerPoint-based comedy show.
