Throughout human history, the tradition of using stories to provide understanding and meaning in a complex world has been unmatched. Following the arrival of the Christ, gifted authors have crafted amazing stories to help reinforce the Biblical canon in a manner that opens our hearts and minds to receive the divine message of the Gospel. We will delve into a wide range of books from ancient times to the recent past, from authors such as C.S. Lewis, Milton, Bunyan and Dante, to examine the underlying allegories and narratives that point to the cross and Christ's teachings.
This book club is for anyone with an interest in literature and discussion. It is non-denominational and open to all seeking wisdom, with the understanding that most members will be seeking to explore their faith in God, as they understand God. We will meet in person, following our introductory sessions to meet and finalize details on how the club should operate.
