Philosophy Nights !

Dear Friends of the Philosophy Meetup!
It's with great joy that we announce another Philosophy Night! We continue to be humbled by the people who tell us that their Saturdays just aren't the same without their weekly dose of philosophy and community.
To that end, we are currently partnering with Maison de l'Afrique in Rosemont (a few mins away from Beaubien station) to keep this awesome community going while we work on building the foundation for our next location and we would love your support!
Meetup fee 10.00$
Fees maintain our operations and black coffee, tea and some snacks are included. With enough interest, we are open to extending the evening and offering alcohol and additional food options.

For those not familiar with the format, here is how the night will work:
- From the topics of the night's theme, we will vote to select one.
- The first ~90 minutes will be a moderated discussion with the whole group on the chosen topic. Everyone is encouraged to speak, but you can just listen if you prefer.
- For the second half of the night, we'll freely break into smaller groups for an open discussion period to chat about whatever with whomever.
- We will also be taking suggestions for future philosophy nights.
Topics don't need to be strictly philosophical, they can be social, political or historical, anything that the group decides is worth discussing.
- Maison de l'Afrique then closes but we often continue into the night at a local pub/eatery.
So come by to see old friends, make new ones and have stimulating discussions with amazing open-minded people from all walks of life!
