You’re invited to our Christmas Dinner!

Julefrokoster is taking place in all families, workplaces, and institutions throughout November and December. Together, International Community Odense and SDU International Staff Office will also be hosting a Christmas party,

OUR ANNUAL CHRISTMAS DINNER 🎄

The Christmas dinner will take place at Kulturmaskinen where we will enjoy a nice buffet offering a taste of some traditional Danish Christmas specialties. A vegetarian option is available.

After the dinner, we will play ‘pakkeleg’ - a gift-swapping game commonly played in Denmark around Christmas. Please bring one wrapped present (max. value 25 DKK) for the game.

After the Christmas dinner, you are welcome to stay at Kulturmaskinen where the bar area will be open.

Price: 150 DKK + ticket fee 17 DKK

Tickets include a Christmas buffet (regular or vegetarian) and two drinks of your own choice (beer or soda).

Additional drinks will be available for purchase in the venue bar after 19:00.

MENU 🍽️

• Pickled herring with sliced onions and curry relish
• Breaded fish with remoulade and lemon
• Egg with shrimp, mayo, and tomatoes
• Glazed ham with green cabbage stew
• Meat balls with warm red cabbage
• Vegetarian meat balls with warm red cabbage
• Liver paté with fried mushrooms and crispy bacon
• Veggie paté with fried mushrooms
• Green cabbage salad
• Red cabbage salad
• Rice pudding with warm or cold cherry sauce
• Assorted fruit
• Cheese and marmelade
• Rye bread, white bread, crackers, and butter

No vegan option available. You can bring your own, but a full price ticket is still necessary to attend the Christmas Dinner.

• Seats are limited, so make sure to get your tickets well in advance
• Tickets cannot be refunded
• Buy your ticket before Friday, December 6 at 12 noon (event may sell out before)
• The Christmas Dinner is for adults only.
