Due to Daylight Savings Time kicking in and turning the woods into a treacherous place in the dark, we changed this hike to Como Lake.

Bring your head lamps and flashlights and join Gregg & Intrepid on a 4-4.5 mile moderate-paced twice around Como Lake. Meet in front of the (now closed for season) Dock & Paddle, which is located in the big lakeside Pavilion.

Afterward, we will slide down to Dyno’s Gyros to have some food. They have drinks in their side cooler. And try the gelato! Sublime.

Wear appropriate clothing! Hikes are often on unpaved trails and can be wet, muddy, slippery, rocky, icy. There are animals with teeth, claws, antlers and even forked tongues. There are insects with stingers, etc. This is nature! Dress right and come prepared with bug spray, water, layers, extra gloves, and snow cleats, if necessary.

No kids. But dogs and plus-ones welcome with registered members of Intrepid, Fit & Social. Dogs can’t come inside at restaurant, but can hike and then wait outside or in the car.
