What we’re about
We meet at coffee shops, on walks, and at pubs to talk about interesting things: books, arts, social movements, current events. We meet in small groups for pleasant, respectful discussion. There are no limits on age, race, gender - join up if you're interested in meeting people for meaningful conversation. You probably won't be comfortable if you think Biden stole the election, if you feel the need to check your phone repeatedly, if you are unvaccinated because you fear the microchip, or if you love talking about office and job politics. (Unless your job is politics!) This is a group where we are trying to meet people who might be a little different and discover people who are passionate and clever. You will enjoy this if you enjoy small groups to talk about a great book you read, an interesting place in the Bay Area, or creativity. Meetups will be in Oakland, Alameda, or Berkeley. Outdoors when weather allows, and full vaccination will be checked. A flexible day schedule is helpful since we might meet on weekdays.
